Both methods appear to require loading an usbaspiX.sys file first in config.sys in most cases. Yesterday I tried this driver and yes, it works perfectly. Turns out they are from Iomega. Then I looked in it and noticed there are  usbaspi.sys and 2 usbcd.sys files.
