if the person had legit copy of norton ghost he could just boot from the norton ghost CD, which can also run from windows and create a bootable CD or FLoppy The Utilities are unbeatable. The device name must be from 1 to 8 bytes valid for use in DOS filenames. I tried DOSBOX but it doesn't appear to support SATA. I just need the SATA drivers to load them onto the disc.

I got mine working as a USB boot with a SATA floppy, and it picks up all my hard drives. The optical drives in the machine are: TSSTcorp CD-RW/DVD-ROM TS-H493A TSSTcorp DVD+/-RW TS-H653A GCDROM does work in an Optiplex 745 (non-RAID, Q965 chipset). Just for the record, I'm booting to DOS using a
