I have a CF-50 running DOS with 1.5GBytes. Have you done it successfully? Even 2003 supports SATA.

For sata drives you just have to have the drivers on your floppy and F6 them as you would do during a windows install. The driver then uses "PIO mode" for all data input. /UX should be needed only for tests and diagnostic work. I need to boot to DOS to run an old CDROM game. the El-Torito emulation image on the CD is booted by BIOS services allright, and NO driver is used for it.So the solution is simply to forget the "rest of the CD" here is my config sys so far, are there other drivers to try? Then the hard disk looks like an IDE hard disk to any operating system.

What the heck do you think you can do with a technique to make larger floppy emulation CD's if NOT CD's with a larger floppy emulated? I need to boot to DOS to run an old CDROM game.
