Windows 7 reports the drive as Slimtype DVD A DS8A2S-A ATA. Dos Cd Rom Driver bartpe is your friend Agreed, I prefer WinPE in some ways but that isnt avaliable to most people. Join the community of 500,000 technology professionals and ask your questions. You should probably take a look at its config.sys and autoexec.bat (if they show on the cd) and see what they did.
