Display Driver Nvlddmkm Stopped Responding Diablo 3
Somehow my old BIOS (1904 i believe) changed my OC settings from 100x38 (BCLK x Ratio) to 100.83x38 which was the cause for instability. What would happen was mid-game (Overwatch, Final Fantasy XIV, Bioshock Infinite, anything really) I would experience a 2-3 second screen freeze but have the audio continually play in the background - Thanks for your help :) permalinkembedsaveparentgive gold[–]KevinDurdenEVGA GTX 1080 SC[S] 1 point2 points3 points 10 months ago(0 children)Ah gotcha, at least Blizzard is aware of it - they're generally pretty good about hotfixes No. http://digitalcompulsion.com/display-driver/display-driver-stopped-responding-and-has-recovered-diablo-3.php

- Now, I removed the TdrDelay and reverted the core/memory clocks of the GPU back to their original values.
- The Video Scheduler detects the GPU is taking too long to complete a task.
- I used DDU and installed the new driver.
- For quite some time my WoT client would crash mid game or in hangar.

- You say...
Tdr timeout happened after my PC woke up from sleep mode just now. Technically the display driver doesn't crash. But ya I have no problem editing my post to DWORD and admitting i'm wrong if it helps someone, hopefully they don't go through a years worth of heartache like i Display Driver Uninstaller If you do see any that are matching your timestamp, can you either post them here or PM me with excluding any personal information from them?
That annoyed me a little at first, coming from Win7/8 and being used to seeing Security Essentials in the tray. Every new driver is supposed to help with the issue, but we still see scattered reports from our players. This issue has been driving me up the wall and has been steadily getting worse for a few months now. Sticking my head in the oven... Source This feature is not available right now.

The alternative to this Timeout Detection and Recovery would be the desktop/application would just appear frozen and you'd be forced to reboot. The OS then resets the appropriate state of the graphics stack. Now I'm back to normal clock speeds, hoping the new 372.54 driver resolves the Tdr timeouts. If not, then you can manually push it through the Windows Update (or pull it straight from the Microsoft website to force the update also).
Anyway, glad you figured out your problem. Thanks! Who knows, maybe that had something to do with it? have a peek here If you're comfortable with regedit - then you'll want to add these two keys to the following location: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SYSTEM/CurrentControlSet/Control/GraphicsDrivers Add a REG_DWORD labeled "TdrDdiDelay" and another for "TdrDelay" and modify the
